A Little Trip To Glastonbury Town

Me and mumma went on a little trip to Glastonbury this week and had a guided coach tour of the festival's grounds...how lucky!  We traveled for an hour and half from Plymouth and met the teenage cancer trust gang at Glastonbury. I wrote a blog post about the tour so If you are interested, you can read here
We decided to visit Glastonbury town after going on the tour rather than wasting the rest of our afternoon driving home.
It was the first time I had visited Glastonbury town and absolutely loved it!
It is such a beautiful, spiritual place and has a very calming, relaxing vibe.

We really enjoyed our first experience inside a temple, it was very fascinating.
We were feeling a bit iffy about going into the temple as we were first timers but it was so fascinating.
Firstly we had to take our shoes off when we entered and sat down on a nest of comfy cushions and blankets. We completely chilled out, listened to relaxing music and running water whilst surrounded by hundreds of candles. It was hard at the beginning to not get the giggles with mum but we ended up staying in there for over 20 minutes and could have stayed there for hours.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit Glastonbury, it is a place you shouldn't turn down.

It is a must see town in the UK.

Have you ever visited Glastonbury?
I would love to hear your stories and what you thought about it.
