MY 23RD BIRTHDAY

My Birthday was last week and me and the girls went away the weekend before my birthday to Cornwall and stayed in a beautiful lodge, my mum and the girls decided to tell me a few days before that they had booked somewhere. Something I have always wanted to do is stay in a lodge with a hot tub, chill out and drink prosecco and that's exactly what we did!
The weekend was one of the best weekends away I have had. The lodge was at Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat, there wasn't any facilities but we didn't need anything as we stayed in a self catering lodge with a hot tub and honestly didn't leave the lodge unless we went to the local shop.
HOT TUB PARTY!

BIRTHDAY WISH LIST

As I prepare to turn 23 years of age in a week, I thought it would be a great distraction to create a list of gifts I would like for my birthday. I am not one to ask for presents and am very indecisive when people ask me what I would like. As you get older I see birthday's as less of a big deal.

I have mentioned these gifts to my parents when they've asked me but do love a surprise so weather they will get me them is unknown. I am always grateful for everything I receive for my Birthday and am looking forward to celebrating it with Family and Friends.

RED CARPET FILM PREMIERE

I feel that 2016 is full of amazing experiences, witnessing the birth of my niece last month and now this month this happened and I had one of the amazing experiences of my life, sounds a little dramatic but it's honestly true. I was contacted by the Teenage Cancer Trust and she asked if I would be interested in going to a film premiere in Leicester Square, London. I obviously jumped at the opportunity and said I was interested. I think they chose names out of a hat and I was chosen. It was very late notice so I only had a few days to plan the trip.
Me and Mum decided to travel on the coach to London. Surprisingly the trip was not bad at all considering it was a 5 hour long journey.
We arrived in London just in time to get ready for the film premiere. I am a huge fan of Pride & Prejudice so was really intrigued what the film would be like and so excited yet nervous to walk down the red carpet.
 Met the handsome Douglas Booth.

The film was really good, there was a bit of a twist and by the title I didn't imagine it working well but it did. It wasn't the best film I've watched but the overall experience was brilliant! I would like to thank the Teenage Cancer Trust on giving me the opportunity and tickets to attend the film premiere.

MY MONTH IN PHOTOS | JANUARY

Another month and more memories. I am surprised that it is already the end of January..where has the month gone!?!
I started this month by celebrating my Nan's friends 70th Birthday. We went to The China House in Plymouth. It was a lovely evening and the food was delicious. I am definitely going to go back this year and am thinking of possibly going for a birthday evening meal next month.
If you follow my social media accounts you would have probably seen these photos a lot. Just before Christmas I started a project placement with the cancer charity CLIC Sargent. Since being diagnosed with cancer it has driven me to follow a career in fundraising. I don't know what the future holds but would love to definitely stay in the charity sector.
This New Year has already been the best by welcoming my beautiful baby Niece Autumn into the world. It was the most amazing experience watching her be born and she has brought so much joy into our lives already. I am looking forward to watch her grow in the near future and be the best Auntie I can be.
January has been a very cold month but that hasn't stopped us from going on lots of dog walks. We visited one of our favorite beaches, Seaton to walk the dog for the first time this year. It was a beautiful day and ended the walk by enjoying a delicious hot chocolate and very tasty sweet potato and bacon soup in the cafe.
Another month, more play days! I took Esmé to visit one of my best friends and her little boy, Louie. They always play lovely together, you've probably seen him in some play date photo's before. It's nice to catch up and drink coffee while they occupy each other. Esmé now wants a fireman fancy dress for her birthday bless her! I also seen my gorgeous baby cousin/godson Theo, he's so bloody cute and gives the best cuddles.
I visited my local National Marine Aquarium a few weeks ago. It was a rainy day and only a 10 minutes away from my house with my Nan and Esmé. We love to visit the Aquarium, the great thing about it is you visit once and are given a free pass for the whole year to visit. Esmé absolutely loves it and I'm not going to lie, I think we love it just as much.
