MY MONTH IN PHOTOS | DECEMBER 2015

I'm so sorry that this post is so overdue. I have had the busiest month and haven't been able to fit in much blogging this year. I'm trying to get into the swing of 2016 and have lots of ideas for posts this year that I want to share with you.
My December started off with me going to see my favorite band, Mumford & Sons in Cardiff. They were bloody amazing and it's the second time I have seen them and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time.
As a lot of you know, I am a member of the CLIC Sargent participation group and being part of this means that I have to travel to the Bristol office every 6 weeks. Seeing as clarks village is on the way to Bristol I decided to stop off to do a bit of Christmas shopping and have to admit my favorite store is the Lindt one it smells insane and stocks any type of lindt chocolate you could imagine...chocolate heaven!
Also it was one of my chums, Pete's 21st birthday and we celebrated that at our meeting.
I was so overwhelmed being nominated for a Pride Of Plymouth award and what an amazing evening it was. I wrote a blog post about the evening here.
I attended the Teenage Cancer Trust Chirstmas party which was lovely, catching up with old friends and making new friends. There was also a special guest, Russel Howard. He is a lovely guy and being a fan of comedy, I felt a big star struck!
My sister-in-law was expecting her first baby and decided to throw a baby shower to celebrate with both sides of our family. Baby has now arrived safe and healthy there will be a post on this shortly so expect a lot of cute baby photos soon. Baby shower's are very american but have become more popular in England, I have been to a few and they are so much fun. We played games and ate party food and Georgia (mummy) got free gifts for her little one. I am definitely going to have one when I am expecting a child.
My mum made the baby cupcakes and for a first time they look excellent don't you think?
My brother won a competition with a new American diner, Ed's Diner which has opened in Plymouth. We had meals, drinks and desserts free of charge and a bottle of champagne. I have never eaten there and oh god it was delicious! I'm not a big fan of American diner's as I find their foods can be overly greased in oil but this exceeded my expectations.
The service was brilliant and even though we didn't have to pay, the menu was reasonably priced. We had a splendid evening and I will definitely be visiting again soon.
I enjoyed a few play dates in December with the little munchkins of the family. Little Esme and my baby cousin Theo..how adorable is he! We also seen little Louie for a soft play date, him and Esme play lovely together and it's nice for me and my chum Maria to catch up over a cup of coffee while they occupy each other.
I am really enjoying finding some hidden little gems in Plymouth and have been venturing out on places to eat or have a little drink. This was a delicious lunch date at The Dock with one of my best chums Kath. The location is beautiful, situated on the marina where the Brittany Ferry deports looking over the sea it was breathtaking!
Writing about Christmas eve seems so long ago. This was our traditionally visit to the Pantomime at our local theater, me and my 12 family members visit as it's my Aunties birthday on Christmas Eve and we have been going to the evening pantomime showing since I can remember.
Christmas Day at the Searl household was a very mad one with 13 of us having Christmas dinner. I wouldn't have it any other way, being with my beautiful family at the most wonderful time of the year!
New years eve was such a brilliant night! I drank too many glasses of champagne and shots of sambuka but most importantly I seen the new year in with my beautiful yet crazy family and friends.

How busy was my December month and that was only the moments I have documented.

I hope you had a wonderful 2015!
