BOURNEMOUTH HERO-ABSEIL 2016

As a lot of my readers know I am hugely involved with the charity CLIC Sargent and over these past few months I have been managing a fundraising event. This week I am focussing on promoting the event as much as I can and have decided to on my blog.

The Bournemouth Hero-Abseil 2016 is the first of its kind, and is a sure test of bravery and heroism.
This adrenaline fuelled challenge will see you abseil down the main tower of St Peter’s Church, where you will have stunning views over the city landscape, across the sea and the iconic Bournemouth Pier.
Be a superhero for children and young people with cancer and their families, and raise money for CLIC Sargent. Don your finest superhero outfit, brave the heights and abseil down St Peter’s Church Tower, in Bournemouth.
Spaces are limited so sign up now for a guaranteed place on the Bournemouth Hero-Abseil 2016.
The registration fee is £25 and you will need to fill out a medical form.
We ask that you pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £150 for CLIC Sargent, which could pay for four families to stay overnight in one of our Homes from Home.

  1. This is such a fantastic idea to raise money and the fact that one persons participation could raise enough to allow four families to stay in overnight is a brilliant thing to raise money for :) I hope it raises loads !

    1. Thank you so much Marianne. I know it is amazing how much it can help. I hope enough people sign up. It's surprising how much effort goes into managing a fundraising event like this. I have learnt so much! I will keep you updated, we have around 5 sign ups already so need to get the word out a bit more.

      Hope you're well!

      Lots of love, Elisha x
